The City is updating the Transportation Master Plan (TMP) - a detailed, long-term planning document that provides details on how the City will enhance, manage, and invest in Barrie's transportation infrastructure. It serves as a roadmap for the City's transportation system (including walking, cycling, driving and public transit), aiming to create a well-connected, accessible, and resilient urban environment.
The City will be hosting a drop-in style event on November 14 to introduce the project, share public feedback gathered to date, and work completed. Members of the public will have the opportunity to share their opinions on the current transportation network, as well as on how the City should plan for a future transportation network that can accommodate our rapidly-growing population.
The meeting will be held in-person and include online content for those who cannot attend.
