The City's Development Services Department is hosting two public consultation sessions on the new Comprehensive Zoning By-Law.
The Zoning By-Law is the primary tool used to implement the vision set out in the Official Plan and to regulate the use of land in the city. Following the adoption of the new Official Plan on February 14th, 2022, work began on drafting a new Comprehensive Zoning By-Law for the entire City.
The City of Barrie invites all those interested in the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law to attend the Public Information Centre (PIC) in which staff will present the key topics, core components and strategic direction of the new Zoning By-Law.
A virtual Public Information Centre will be held on:
