Description from Organizers

You are invited to join us on Thursday October 10th, World Homeless Day for our March To End Homelessness 2.

We will meet at the Spirit Catcher at 5:30 and march through the downtown core ending our march at Barrie City Hall. Here we will gather for speeches, a call to action, and a community dinner

There is no us and them, there is only US, and we are stronger together!

Neighbours marching together is how we build community!

We will be marching in solidarity with other communities across the country. Join us for this nationwide day of action and solidarity.

We march to bring awareness to the growing housing and homelessness crisis in our city. We march in support of our unsheltered community. We march to hold all levels of government accountable for their inaction in addressing this crisis.

Community partners interested in supporting this action and getting involved please email christine@ryanshopebarrie.ca.

We are seeking assistance with food and drinks for our community meal.
