HELD by Harris
AMENDMENT by Harris:
[the entire amendment was never shared in Council, so it is unclear what, exactly, was voted on. Harris did read a change he'd made to his amendment's wording in Section 5, but not the full amendment]
Amended paragraph 5 of item 2 in the amendment to delete the first sentence and replace with "Council members shall be appointed for a 2-year term, and youth council members will be appointed for a 1-year term, with the option to extend a second year term"
He did mention changing ages, and hoping to get every high school represented, but the contents of item 1, the previous 4 paragraphs of item 2, or any other items in the amendment being voted on. It is highly problematic that an amendment was voted on without putting it in the public record.
