The Barrie Skateboard Association will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Skateboard Park in Queen's Park on September 21
They are asking for the following issues to be addressed before the event:
Chain Link Fence
removing the frontal section of the gates as well as the tall section of the chain link fence fronting Park Street
community members say it makes people feel excluded
removing the back section of fencing and gate between the Queen's Park baseball diamond and the Army Cadet Drill Hall
would allow for safer entrance into the park
Trash Receptacles
asking that three trash receptacles be added to the three entrances of the park, to help community members maintain the cleanliness of the park
