Barrie residents can safely dispose of used (and intact) batteries during Battery Collection Week, November 4-8
Battery bags with instructions will be mailed to households during the week of October 7. Batteries can also be placed in clear, sealable bags. Residents are asked to place battery bags beside recycling boxes on their regular curbside collection day (rechargeable and single-use batteries only - no cell phone, laptop, car batteries or battery packs, which must be taken to the landfill)
