June is Indigenous History Month, and June 21 is Indigenous Peoples Day
The City is partnering with the Barrie Native Friendship Centre, Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin Primary Care Team (Barrie Area Native Advisory Circles), Red Quills, Barrie Public Library and the BIA to provide opportunities for all residents to learn about and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of First Nations, Inuit and MĆ©tis Peoples

The City is conducting its 3rd annual Business & Employer Data Survey, starting May 15, to update the City's online business directory, monitor economic trends, support business retention and expansion, forecast infrastructure needs, and assist with transportation planning

The City will be performing horticultural streetscape maintenance work to excavate and place updated material in the planters on Dunlop St. overnight on May 15 & 16 (and possibly 17, weather-dependent)
