Countering Misinformation and Electoral Interference
As we get more of our election information online, including from social media, there is an increasing danger of seeing false or misleading content about elections.

Always check your sources, look for citations and solid evidence to back "facts".

ElectoFacts
Elections Canada has put together a page to help counter some of the inaccurate or misleading information floating around about how elections work (note, this is not fact-checking parties' or candidates statements on social media).

Election Integrity and Security
This is also becoming a concern for many. Elections Canada has put together a page to outline all the safeguards in place to counter election interference, as well as the various people and procedures involved in protecting Canada's Federal Electoral System.
